BIM-Building Information Modeling
Rook Mind provides Building Information Modeling (BIM) services, which are the creation of parametric, or intelligent, 3D Models instead of 2D perspective ‘un-intelligent’ Drawings. An Architectural Building Information Modeling operates on a digital database and any change made to this database is reflected throughout the entire drawing. Building Information Modeling is for architects, engineers, contractors, developers, and building owners - to sync together allowing them to view the model in different ways and seamlessly share information. The BIM produces construction documents that resemble those created by 2D CAD Drafting, but are done much faster and hold information about quantities, materials and other data that can be used in both the construction and management of a building. Our Building Information Modeling services are creating parametric, sophisticated models that expand communication to all members of the project.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the process of generating and managing building data during its life cycle using three-dimensional, real-time, dynamic building modeling software to decrease wasted time and resources in building design and construction. This process produces the Building Information Model (also abbreviated BIM), which encompasses building geometry, spatial relationships, geographic information, and quantities and properties of building components. BIM covers geometry, spatial relationships, geographic information, quantities and properties of building components (for example manufacturers' details). It can be applied for demonstrating the entire building life cycle including the processes of construction and facility operation. Quantities and shared properties of materials can easily be extracted. Scopes of work can be isolated and defined. Systems, assemblies, and sequences are able to be shown in a relative scale with the entire facility or group of facilities.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the move from analog to digital design and construction. It is a model-based technology linked with a database of project information and poised to fundamentally change the way projects are built and the way project stakeholders communicate with each other.
